We are a digital agency looking for an experienced Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce) freelancer to support an ongoing client project. You will work alongside our internal team (PM, designers, other devs) to build, customize, and optimize a Magento-based eCommerce application.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Magento 2 modules and themes

• Implement business logic, checkout, and catalog customizations

• Integrate third-party extensions, payment gateways, and shipping providers

• Optimize site performance, security, and scalability

• Fix bugs and support QA/testing

• Collaborate with agency PMs and designers

• Follow Magento best practices and coding standards

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce

• Advanced PHP and MySQL

• Frontend basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Experience with REST & GraphQL APIs

• Version control with Git

• Comfortable working in an agency environment with tight deadlines and changing requirements

Nice to Have

• Magento certifications

• Experience with headless Magento / PWA Studio

• AWS or cloud hosting experience

• CI/CD and deployment workflows

• Experience with large catalogs or high-traffic stores
