With version 1.1 we've focused heavily on making 0cred work better for businesses and job seekers. For businesses, it's now completely free to add job postings to 0cred. For job seekers, we've added a new verification type: videos. Video verifications allow anyone, not just webdevs, to apply to jobs and showcase their skills.

Here's what we shipped:

New Verification Type: Videos

Video verifications as an alternative to web project verifications

Video verifications are incredibly powerful for technical as well as non-technical roles. They allow candidates to record a short video introducing themselves, explaining their experience, or demonstrating their skills. This is perfect for non-technical roles where soft skills and communication matter just as much as hard skills. Think of it as a modern cover letter—but you can actually see and hear the person, get a sense of their personality, and assess their comms and confidence before even scheduling an interview.

Before applying to jobs, job seekers can prepare their video verifications in advance and reuse them across multiple jobs. This means they don't have to hop on hundreds of "vibe check intro calls" and get rejected for no reason. This also means that businesses can save time by not having to schedule and conduct multiple interviews for roles that are going to be a vibes-based decision anyway.

We've completely redesigned the job posting and application flow, making it smoother and more full-fledged for both companies and candidates.

Creating a job posting is now more intuitive and flexible. Companies can mix and match verification requirements, require a video for one role, a web project for another, or combine multiple verification types. The company decides what matters for each specific position, and candidates know exactly what to provide.

CV Uploads for Jobs

Candidates can now upload their CVs once and reuse it across multiple jobs. For hiring teams, our system automatically parses and extracts key information, making it easier for hiring managers to quickly review qualifications, work history, and skills.

This complements our verification system perfectly: you get the traditional resume information alongside verified proof of work.

Arbitrary File Uploads for Jobs

Beyond CVs, businesses can now request the candidates to upload an arbitrary number of relevant files: e.g. portfolios, cover letters, letters of motivation, certificates, design mockups, and more.

The application process is now streamlined. Candidates can see all the required and optional inputs upfront and upload their materials in one place. Whether they're submitting a video, CV, files, or a web project, everything is well organized and easy to handle.

For hiring managers, reviewing applicants is now more efficient. All candidate materials are organized in one place: the job subpage. There, you can watch candidate videos, review CVs, download files, and check verified projects without switching contexts. Everything you need to make a hiring decision is right there.
